What is Private Forms?
Private Forms is a web application that helps anybody build secure, private web forms. Our intuitive drag and drop user interface makes form building a breeze. Using Private Forms, you can create forms, integrate them to your site and receive responses by email.

What's required to use Private Forms?
All you need is internet access and a browser that supports JavaScript! You don't even need your own website (but that's great if you do, too)!
Is my data safe and secure with Private Forms?
We do our best to ensure the safe keeping of your data. Our servers are managed by DigitalOcean and located in the United States. The data center is staffed 24/7/365 with onsite security and to protect against unauthorized entry. Each site has security cameras that monitor both the facility premises as well as each area of the datacenter internally. There are biometric readers for access as well as at least two factor authentication to gain access to the building. Each facility is unmarked so as not to draw any additional attention from the outside and adheres to strict local and federal government standards.
All data traveling in-and-out of our servers uses 256-bit SSL encryption for enhanced security. In fact, we pass Qualys SSL Labs SSL Server Test with an A+ grade!
In addition to all of this though, even our administrators can never see the data that your users submit to yourt Private Forms web forms. That is because your user's submissions are encrypted using your key (which we don't have) before being sent to our servers. This means that only someone with your private key can view your user's form submissions, even if they were to gain full access to our servers.
How can I see form submissions?
You have two ways to see form submissions. You can receive them instantly by email, or you can log into your account periodically and view or download submissions.
Can I add my Private Forms forms to my web site?
Yes, we provide an embed code for you to have your forms integrated into your own web site.
Do you put advertisements on Forms?
No, we do not add any kind of 3rd party advertisements on your forms?we want our customers to look professional.
Does Private Forms provide source code to it's software?
Private Forms makes heavy use of Keybase.io's KBPGP. KBPGP is published under an open license and is available on Github. All other source code, unless otherwise noted, is copyright 2015 Private Forms.
Do you license your form builder technology?
Yes, we do license our form builder to 3rd parties. You can get a copy of our software to use in your internal corporate or educational intranet. Contact us for more information at info@privateforms.com.
